Show Summary
Supernatural is a paranormal horror drama filled with thrill, action and adventure is created and produced by Eric Kripke. Other executive producers include McG, Robert Singer and Kim Manners. Supernatural season 1 was originally aired on The WB on 13th September 2005. The remaining Supernatural seasons are aired on The CW Network. All the series are filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The show is so popular that thousands of people download it everyday. It opens with Dean as he comes to Sam to take his help to find out their missing father. Sam agrees to find him even though he had some complications with his father. Both brothers also start collecting clues to find the unknown murderer of their mother. While finding their father, Sam’s girlfriend, Jess, is killed by some power and he starts searching for the thing that killed his girlfriend and remains upset thinking himself liable for her death. After her girlfriend’s death, it is revealed that he was having an intuition of her death from many days before it actually happened. His regret of being unable to save his girlfriend compels him to drop out of college. While finding their father and murderers of their mother and girlfriend they encounter many supernatural evils and save people from them. At last they find their father. After this, lots of other evil characters are introduced and the show becomes powerful by showing more action and fight scenes. Till now; four Supernatural seasons have been completed. Now, the latest Supernatural season 5 has started on 10th September, 2009.
During the premier of the episodes of Supernatural, it was rated at third position gathering highest number of male viewers watching this show. It during its second season, it was able to increase its male viewers between the ages of 18-49 by 73%. In next season it reached third rank for the same male category. Fifth season of Supernatural is also getting good response from its fans with high ratings.
